About Us

A New West Virginia Charity With a Specific Job

PROVENIQ Foundation builds technology, programs, and partnerships that improve animal welfare, protect companion animals, and support the people and institutions that care for them.

Why We Exist

The Foundation grew from founder Terry Holliday's experience after his Husky, Ash, disappeared in 2020. The search exposed practical gaps between pet owners, microchip registries, shelters, rescues, veterinary practices, and online lost-pet networks. PROVENIQ Foundation was established to help close those gaps and to make useful animal-welfare infrastructure available as a public benefit.

Our Mission in Plain Language

We help West Virginia families keep companion animals safe, healthy, identified, and at home. We do that by developing free coordination technology and preparing partner-delivered programs for pet identification and reunification, spay/neuter access, and short-term crisis support.

We use the One Health framework because animal health, human wellbeing, and community conditions affect one another. In practice, that means building tools and programs that support both animals and the people and organizations responsible for their care.

Where We Are Now

The Foundation is in its first operating year. Our current work is organizational development, technology development, partner outreach, fundraising, and pilot planning. We do not present planned services as completed work, and we will publish program photographs and outcome data only after activities occur and permission is obtained. Focus Areas

The Foundation's charitable work is organized around four practical areas:

  • Pet identification, lost-pet response, and family reunification
  • Access to spay/neuter and other preventive care through qualified partners
  • Free operational tools for shelters, rescues, and veterinary practices
  • Original research and public education about animal welfare and One Health

Relationship with PROVENIQ Technologies

The Foundation is an independent nonprofit entity. While we may utilize technology developed by PROVENIQ Technologies to further our charitable mission, we operate under separate governance and maintain strict independence in our program decisions.
