Frequently Asked Questions
Practical Answers. Plain Language.
Clear answers about the PROVENIQ Foundation, our governance, programs, and compliance.
How can I help besides donating?
Sharing our posts helps more than you know. And if you know anyone connected to shelters, vets, or animal welfare work, those introductions matter a lot right now.
Why hasn't something like this existed already?
A lot of partial solutions existed — but nothing designed to connect the whole system. That gap is exactly what we're trying to close.
Is this actually live or just an idea?
The software is built and functional. What we're funding now is pilot deployment — getting it into real shelters and clinics so we can prove impact at scale.
Is this just for West Virginia?
We're starting with pilot partners here, but everything is designed to scale anywhere it's needed.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes, once our 501(c)(3) status is approved. Our application has been submitted and is currently pending with the IRS.
How is this different from existing microchip registries or lost pet pages?
Most tools solve one piece of the problem. PROVENIQ is designed to connect all the pieces — pets, shelters, vets, records, and response — in one coordinated system.
Does this involve politics?
No. The Foundation's role is technology, education, and accountability — not political advocacy or campaigns.
What is the PROVENIQ Foundation?
The PROVENIQ Foundation is a West Virginia nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes. Our mission is to advance public understanding of verification systems and support charitable activities that reduce information asymmetry.
